NEC Executive Director Pays a Courtesy Visit to the Prime Minister of Somalia
Dr. Ali Isse, Executive Director of the National Economic Council (NEC) of Somalia, paid a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E Mohamed Hussein Rooble.
Dr. Ali briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing efforts by the National Economic Council to formulate the Growth & Economic Transformation Strategy (GETS). Centered around a broad-based vision, GETS aims at transforming Somalia into a lower-middle-income status by 2050.
On his part, H.E Mohamed Hussein Rooble applauded the National Economic Council (NEC) and its National Economic Advisors (NEAs) for their relentless efforts in assisting the government in formulating sound socio-economic policies, while expressing his support to the finalization of the Growth and Economic Transformation Strategy of Somalia.
