Consultation meeting with academia, research institutions & human rights advocates
The National Economic Council (NEC) of Somalia has held a consultation meeting with representatives from academia, research institutions and gender & human rights advocates to brief them about the Growth & Economic Transformation Strategy (GETS) which was recently inaugurated.
Dr. Ali Isse, NEC Executive Director, underscored that the meeting aimed at exchanging views on how these institutions can contribute to the development of GETS in terms of providing input, peer review & validation to the end of producing an ambitious and inclusive strategy.
