Nimco Mohamoud

Nimco Mohamoud is an experienced senior policy development and finance expert with over 15 years of experience in financial and management careers across several financial institutions at both the federal and state levels. She served as the former Program Director of the National Economic Council (NEC) responsible for leading the effort to promote sound economic policy in Somalia. Mrs Nimo is passionate about finance and is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Association. As a women’s advocate, she co-founded the LeadNow Movement advocating for women’s equal representation in government institutions. Mrs Nimo has obtained several academic and professional qualifications including an MBA in Finance and Bachelor of Business Administration. Nimo Ahmed leads the Enterprise Development Workstream of the National Economic Council.
