As an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in research and management across public sector, academia, and economic development organizations. He has worked with esteemed organizations such as USAID, World Bank, UN Agencies, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, EU, Swiss SDC, and more. His expertise lies in human security, economic development, peace-building, governance, post-conflict state building, climate change, and resilience. Mohamed is a specialist in resource mobilization, grants writing, and securing funding from various global funds. He has also founded Resilience Innovation Hub, the first research and innovation hub focusing on climate, conflict, resilience, and displacement-affected populations. Mohamed has extensive international experience in Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Djibouti, Uganda, South Africa, Qatar, Tunisia, Turkey, and the United States. Dr. Mohamed has a PhD in Peace, Development and Governance.
