Somalia’s domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM) strategy intends to mobilize domestic resources to finance inclusive growth and sustainable development as defined in the Somali Growth and Economic Transformation Strategy – Vision 2050. It seeks a sustainable and inclusive growth strategy in resource mobilization to guard against national vulnerability, and the unpredictability of donor funding. In addition, frontline defenses against droughts, flooding, and locust infestation, as well as pandemics, such as the last one Covid-19 and more. The strategic priorities include expanding the revenue base, engendering, and deepening financial stability. Exploiting between domestic revenue mobilization and development partner support.
