The National Economic Council (NEC) held its 6th National Economic Policy Forum on 27-28 November 2023. The event brought together leaders from key government institutions, development partners, and scholars to discuss the Centennial Vision 2060 developed by the NEC.
The 6th NEC Economic Policy Forum was officially opened by H.E. D.r. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia. In his keynote speech, he emphasized the significance of the Centennial Vision 2060.
The event aimed to discuss Somalia’s long-term development agenda (CV2060) and was attended by all stakeholders including government officials, civil society organizations, academic and research institutions, and international partners.
